The Avatar Meher Baba Kindred Hearts Foundation embodies selfless service inspired by
Avatar Meher Baba's divine teachings of love, compassion, and oneness.
Avatar Meher Baba Kindred Hearts Foundation regularly undertakes a variety of well-planned fundraising initiatives to support its humanitarian, social, and spiritual service activities. These efforts are inspired by the divine principles of Love, Service, Compassion, and Selfless Giving as taught by Avatar Meher Baba.
On the sacred occasion of the 57th Amartithi of Avatar Meher Baba, the Avatar Meher Baba Kindred Hearts Foundation actively participated in the Amartithi gatherings held at Meherabad on 30th and 31st January 2026.
During this spiritually significant event, the Foundation set up a special stall titled “The Meher Baba Gift Stall – A Corner of Love and Devotion” at Lower Meherabad. The stall was thoughtfully organized as a devotional offering, creating a serene space where Baba lovers could connect through meaningful memorabilia and spiritual literature.
The stall featured a variety of newly designed and unique Meher Baba-themed gifts, carefully curated to inspire love, remembrance, and devotion. Devotees warmly appreciated the collection, which reflected both creativity and reverence for Baba’s universal message.
In addition to gift items, the Foundation also introduced the newly reprinted edition of Bhau KalchuriJi’s book “गुलामगिरीत प्रभुत्व”. The reprint was undertaken as part of the Foundation’s effort to preserve and share valuable spiritual literature connected with Baba’s teachings and legacy. The book received encouraging interest from devotees attending the Amartithi program.
The initiative was not commercial in nature but devotional in spirit. The nominal proceeds collected from the sale of gifts and books will be utilized solely for the Foundation’s ongoing service-oriented and humanitarian activities.
Foundation representatives shared that participating in Amartithi at Meherabad is always a moment of deep gratitude and spiritual renewal. Through “The Meher Baba Gift Stall,” the organization aimed to offer a humble contribution in remembrance of Baba, while continuing its mission of love, service, and devotion.
Guided by its core principle of selfless service, the Foundation remains committed to carrying forward activities that reflect Avatar Meher Baba’s message of love for all and service to humanity.
The Avatar Meher Baba Kindred Hearts Foundation proudly announced the reprint and ceremonial launch of the Marathi translation of the spiritually profound book “Mastery in Servitude” authored by Bhau Kalchuri. The Marathi edition, titled “गुलामगिरीत प्रभुत्व”, translated by Anna Khandale and Sudhir Kolhe, marks a significant revival after 29 years of its original publication.
This sacred literary offering holds special importance for the Foundation, as the seeds of its formation were nurtured under the loving guidance and inspiration of Bhau Kalchuri. The book reflects the essence of selfless service, surrender, and devotion — values that form the cornerstone of the Foundation’s mission.
💠Grand Release Ceremony
The book was formally released on 28th January 2026 at a spiritually uplifting ceremony conducted in the presence of respected trustees of the Avatar Meher Baba Perpetual Public Charitable Trust — Mr. Mehernathji Kalchuri and Mr. Meher Prasad Rajuji — along with Mr. Rajendraji Rohanekar, Former Founder President of the Avatar Meher Baba Spiritual Centre Amravati.
The function commenced with garlanding Baba’s Gadi and offering heartfelt prayers. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and reverence as distinguished guests reflected upon the spiritual depth of the book.
During his address, Mr. Mehernathji Kalchuri shared beautiful lines by poets Huma and Hazrat Gilori Shah, emphasizing the spirit of humility and servitude:
“I am humble, a servant, a slave in God’s court;
This body too is God’s, this heart and soul also belong to God.” — Huma.
“I am… but why? What am I? I am nameless, without a homeland, without limits;
I am the servant of my spiritual guide.” — Hazrat Gilori Shah.
Through these verses, he illuminated the profound message of Mastery in Servitude — that true mastery lies in surrender and loving service.
Mr. Meher Prasad Rajuji mentioned that Mr. Framroze Mistry, Chairman of A.M.B.P.P.C. Trust, had encouraged every trustee to read this book for deeper spiritual understanding. Senior Baba lover Mr. C. N. Gangde from Akola emphasized that every Baba lover and volunteer should not only read but also collectively discuss this book at their respective centres.
Mr. Rajendraji Rohanekar highlighted that the teachings of the book must be translated into daily practice, as spirituality finds its true expression through action.
💠Foundation’s Vision and Commitment
The Founder-Secretary of the Foundation, Mr. Swapnil Dhule, expressed that the book is deeply inspiring and essential reading for all volunteers, trustees, and workers engaged in Baba’s spiritual service. He emphasized that the book beautifully explains the spirit of Narayana Seva — serving humanity as a direct service to God.
He further shared that the Foundation remains committed to publishing spiritually relevant literature in the future, especially material that resonates with contemporary needs and benefits the younger generation.
The Founder-President of the Foundation, Mr. Vishwajeet Parode, honored the distinguished guests by presenting them with a canvas photo frame of the book cover as a token of gratitude. The event witnessed the gracious presence of numerous Baba lovers and devotees, making it a spiritually memorable gathering.
